Show me Your miracles, Oh Lord.
You showed Your strength and might.
You gave a blind man his sight.
You freed him from insanity.
You are his eyes and his way.
You healed a lame, you let him stand.
Through Your love and helping hand,
He walked and moved his feet.
He followed your way full of faith.
Show me your miracles Oh Lord.
Allow me to witness your strength.
Let Your compassion be with me.
May Your love be part of me.
With Your men You sailed to the sea.
Strong winds and waves came your way.
You made the angry sea placid.
Your faith so deep and solid.
You offered fishes and loaves of bread.
From one you made a thousand.
From hunger you showed abundance.
From their faith, you showed compassion.
Show me your miracles Oh Lord.
Allow me to witness your strength.
Let Your compassion be with me.
May Your love be part of me.
The Key
No matter how hard I tried,
There is a thing I cannot hide.
I reached my dreams yet still the pain.
Is happiness always hard to gain?
Life seems unpredictable.
The more I yearn the more I crawl.
The more I reach the more I sneak.
Is life at times bleak?
But I finally found the key,
To unlock the doubts within me.
And now I know the joy I plea.
More than gold can make me free.
In spite of my strange misery
I finally found my ecstasy.
It is God’s love that keeps me sway
I finally found a happy life within me.
I am ready to face my chance.
This time God is in my hand.
Ready to face what my heart tells me.
Hurt is no longer part of me.
Yes I finally found the key,
To unlock the doubts within me.
And now I know the joy I plea.
More than gold can make me free.
Mary Our Mother
Angel Gabriel appeared unto you
You accepted his words through and through
God must have chosen you
Because of your love so deep so true
Your tears flowed seeing Jesus dying
Helpless and meek you were trying
To submit to God’s calling
Your motherly love is everlasting
Mary, our mother, our queen
We thank you for giving us your son
We thank you for the love we gain
And we are sorry for causing you pain
Losing a son is a painful ordeal
Yet you swallowed and felt the pain
You saw Jesus trembling and falling
It must have been so grueling.
May the torrent of tears you shed
Cleanse our pride and our greed
Inspire us to love others as we should
And help us to love God as you showed
A Day with God
One day I got on a train.
But I wasn’t sure where to go.
It was one of the helpless days of my life.
I thought challenges are inherently rife.
First, second, and third stations elapsed.
I suddenly realized, I had to stop.
To go back to pick up the pieces
and start a new life full of graces.
While on my way back,
I noticed that the stations I came to pass,
Were perseverance, hope, and love.
The moment I arrived,
A Man in white whispered and cried:
“Don't you trust Me anymore, my child?"
Blink of an eye, the Man disappeared.
But I noticed not far from my sight,
A beggar sleeping like a top.
I woke him up and offered a food I wrapped.
With grateful look, He uttered, “faith is what you should have".
Enjoy, Treasure, Aim, and Fight
We always think of difficult things,
When we can do simple things.
Watching the stars fall, counting the people pass by,
Singing songs of inspiration,
And talking with friends,
These are the things we should enjoy in life.
Listen to the waves of the seas.
Touch the flowing rivers and streams.
Feel the spirit of nature, smell the fragrance of the flowers.
Love others as you love yourself.
And walk through life with others.
This is what we should treasure in life.
Dream even the most inscrutable of all dreams.
Reach even the farthest stars in the skies.
Make happiness but not wealth.
Achieve nothing but eternal life.
This is what we should aim in life.
Climb your life’s acme.
But when you fall, need not fear.
It is in the falling that we go up.
It is in the rolling that we gain strength.
This is what we should fight in life.
You showed Your strength and might.
